During the morning, our Portuguese-speaking guide will introduce you to Santiago's main highlights: Plaza de Armas with its 18th-century Metropolitan Cathedral, the imposing La Moneda Palace (seat of the Chilean government), the bohemian Barrio Lastarria, the historic Cerro Santa Lucía, and the modern skyline of Las Condes Towers.
Afternoon: Cousiño Macul Winery — Tradition and Elegance
After a free lunch, we head to Cousiño Macul, located in the Santiago metropolitan area, just 15 minutes from downtown. The winery is famous for its high-quality wines and for preserving its original historic architecture, including its legendary park with centuries-old trees. The guided visit takes you through historic cellars where award-winning wines have matured, followed by a tasting of the house's most representative labels.
