About this tour

Viña del Mar & Valparaíso: A Coastal Adventure

Just 120 km from Santiago, Chile's central coast hides two of its most fascinating destinations: Viña del Mar, the elegant "Garden City," known for its luxury hotels, sprawling beaches, and blooming gardens; and Valparaíso, an open-air museum and UNESCO World Heritage site, famous for its hills covered in colorful houses, historic funiculars, and bohemian spirit. Escapada Tours Chile takes you to explore both in a single day.

Viña del Mar: Elegance and the Ocean

In Viña del Mar, the tour visits the iconic Flower Clock (Reloj de Flores), San Martín Avenue, and the surrounding areas offering stunning views of the Pacific and the city's sophisticated coastline. You can stroll along the waterfront, sample local cuisine, and experience the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a city that has been the premier summer destination for the Chilean elite for decades.

Valparaíso: Heritage and Cultural Identity

The highlight of the itinerary is Valparaíso. Our professional guide leads the group through this historic treasure, visiting its most important landmarks. You will ride a traditional funicular up one of the hills—such as Cerro Alegre, Concepción, 21 de Mayo, or Bellavista, depending on your interests—walk through alleys filled with world-class street art and murals, and enjoy panoramic views of the bay. Valparaíso is a city that surprises you at every turn.
