About this package

TOP & Traditional Wine Tourism — 3 Days in Chile's Greatest Wine Valleys

For true wine lovers, this itinerary is a journey through Chile's three most important and distinct wine regions: Maipo Valley, Aconcagua Valley, and Casablanca Valley. Three days, three completely different terroirs, and the country's finest wineries.

Day 1 — Maipo Valley Wine Tourism

Considered the historic heart of Chilean wine, Maipo Valley is embraced by the Andes and is home to Chile's finest Cabernet Sauvignon — recognized as one of the top 10 wine tourism destinations in the world (2019).

This valley hosts Chile's most traditional and awarded wineries, with decades — and even centuries — of history. Choose your favorite combination:

  • Concha y Toro — Chile's largest and most visited winery, with the legendary ultra-premium Almaviva as its crown jewel;
  • Santa Rita — historic since 1880, producer of the famous "120" label, and a landmark of Chilean independence;
  • Cousiño Macul — one of the country's oldest wineries, with historic cellars and internationally acclaimed wines;
  • Aquitania — a luxury boutique, recognized for elegant and high-standard reds;
  • Haras de Pirque — an Italian-style winery nestled in the Andean foothills;
  • El Principal — premium boutique with altitude Cabernet and privileged terroir.

Escapada guides and manages bookings at the wineries according to availability and the group's profile.

Day 2 — Aconcagua Valley Wine Tourism

Aconcagua Valley extends from the Pacific Ocean to the Andes, traversed by the Aconcagua River. A historic corridor — originally home to the Aconcagua culture, setting of Chile's Independence — and today recognized as one of Chile's high-quality wine-producing valleys, with award-winning boutique family estates.

The altitude wineries produce full-bodied yet fresh reds, with varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Carménère:

  • Viña Errazuriz — a national icon with over 140 years of history and wines ranked among the world's best;
  • Von Siebenthal — a Swiss-Chilean top-tier boutique, focused on Rhône and Bordeaux varieties;
  • San Esteban (In Situ) — an altitude winery with intimate tastings and a personalized experience.

Day 3 — Casablanca Valley Wine Tourism

Casablanca Valley is the heart of Chilean white wines, shaped by Pacific breezes and the charm of modern wineries that combine tradition, innovation, and quality.

The sea breeze and morning fog ensure the vivacity and minerality of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Gentle hills and diverse soils yield elegant Pinot Noir that reflects the delicacy of the landscape.

The valley's top wineries:

  • Casas del Bosque — ranked among Chile's and the world's best, offering vineyard bike tours, modern architecture, and an award-winning restaurant;
  • Veramonte — a valley pioneer, with expansive vineyards, sustainable certification, and wines of great expression;
  • Kingston Wine Family — a family boutique focused on artisan quality and expressive terroir;
  • Viñamar — a specialist in sparkling wines and a white wine reference in Chile.

A route made for those who want to go beyond the glass: understanding wine through the land, the history, and the people who make it.
