About this package
Andes, Coast & Sunset — 4 Days with Chile's Most Beautiful Sunset
An itinerary that goes from the extreme altitudes of the Andes to the Pacific Ocean, passing through one of Chile's most spectacular sunsets. Four days of unique and unforgettable experiences.
Day 1 — Portillo & Laguna del Inca
Heading north of Santiago, we ascend the Andes Mountains to 2,800 meters above sea level, along the famous Caracoles Road — an iconic route with breathtaking views.
Portillo is the world's oldest ski resort still in operation, steeped in history:
- Chile's Independence and the first European explorers;
- The construction of the Transandean Railway — one of the most audacious engineering feats of the 19th century;
- Decades of international ski competitions.
Laguna del Inca — one of the most impressive natural spectacles in the Andes. A mountain lake that mirrors the crystal-clear blue sky in summer and transforms into a snowy landscape in winter. A must-stop for photos and contemplation.
Tour subject to weather conditions and Andes access as determined by local authorities.
Day 2 — Valparaíso with Casablanca Winery
From Santiago to the Pacific, with a special stop for wine tasting in Casablanca Valley.
Casablanca Valley — the heart of Chilean white wines. Pacific breezes and morning fog ensure Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay of great vivacity and minerality. An intimate visit to one of the valley's wineries, with guided tasting. Winery ticket optional, paid separately.
Valparaíso — UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. The colorful hills of Alegre and Concepción, vivid houses, and panoramic Pacific views. A bohemian, artistic, and authentic city where street art turns every wall into a work of art.
Day 3 — Monteluz Sunset Experience
The most exclusive experience of the itinerary — and one of the most unique in Chile.
Monteluz is set in Cuesta de Chacabuco, deep in the Andes, carrying part of Chile's history of Independence in its terroir. Surrounded by valleys and mountains with a 360° panoramic view, it's the perfect setting for the most spectacular sunset you've ever witnessed.
